2026–2027 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Registration for the 2026–2027 Northside & District Minor Hockey season will be completed online through GrayJay Pay.

Registration Fees

U7 & U9 — $640

U11, U13, U15 & U18 — $715

New Players

All new players must have a Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) ID number prior to registering through GrayJay Pay.

o    Step 1: New players who do not already have a Hockey Canada Registration ID can access the official Hockey Canada Registry here: https://register.hockeycanada.ca/

o Step 2: Create an account with GrayJayPay (https://grayjaypay.ca/user/register/)

o Step 3: Add your player(s) as a family member to your account - NOTE - DO NOT create the account under your player's name, you are the account holder. 

o Step 4: Add Northside & District Minor Hockey Association to the ‘My Organizations’ tab

Registration Payment

All registration payments must be made through GrayJay Pay.

Registrants may pay their registration fee in full or select the GrayJay payment plan. No other payment arrangements are available.

• 50% of the registration fee is due at the time of registration.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full by October 31, 2026.

• Players registering after October 31 must pay the full registration amount at the time of registration.

Registration Discounts

Eligible registration discounts will be applied by the Registrar after registration has been completed.

• Goaltender Discount

Eligible goaltenders receive a 50% discount from the regular registration fee. To qualify, a player must be assigned to a team as a goaltender from U11 through U18. The discount will be applied by the Registrar following registration.

• Family/Sibling Discount

A $75 registration discount is available for the second, third and each subsequent eligible player in the same family. The discount will be applied by the Registrar following registration.

Where a player qualifies for more than one registration discount, the greater applicable discount will apply. Discounts are not combined.

• New Player Discount

A $200 registration discount is available to new players who have never previously been registered in minor hockey. The discount will be applied by the Registrar following registration.

Where the new-player discount applies to an additional sibling, the $75 sibling discount will not also apply.

50/50 Registration Credits

Eligible 50/50 registration credits will be available during the GrayJay Pay registration process and may be applied toward registration fees.

Available credits are subject to the Association's 50/50 Fundraising and Registration Credit Policy.

Refund Policy

The Northside & District Minor Hockey Refund Policy will be provided as a document within GrayJay Pay during the registration process. Members are responsible for reviewing the Refund Policy as part of registration.

Transfers from Another Association

Players transferring to Northside & District Minor Hockey from another minor hockey association must meet all applicable Hockey Nova Scotia transfer rules and requirements. Transfers are subject to approval in accordance with Hockey Nova Scotia regulations and must be completed before a player's registration can be finalized.
